BNI Prestige, a Singapore chapter of BNI (Business Network International) has been successful in creating a structured and supportive environment for business professionals to grow their networks and generate new business opportunities since 2010.
The current chapter is made up of close to 50 members, who are subject matter experts in the areas of Construction; Marketing, Media and Digital; Financial; Health and Wellness and Business Services.
More than S$40M worth of business has been generated through business referrals from the members. Since 2023, we have set up Pivot Period, an monthly event initiative which sees BNI Prestige members coming together to share their work challenges; to create a support system amongst members; and also to help and inspire each other.
Members often build strong relationships with fellow entrepreneurs and business owners, leading to long-term collaborations and partnerships.
BNI operates on the principle of "Givers Gain," where members actively seek to give referrals and business to other members with the expectation that they will receive referrals in return.
BNI chapters typically meet weekly, and meetings follow a structured agenda. Members have the opportunity to showcase their businesses, exchange referrals, and participate in networking activities.
BNI allows only one member per profession or business category in each chapter, promoting exclusivity and preventing conflicts of interest within the group.
Members are encouraged to actively refer business to each other, and there is a strong emphasis on building relationships and trust within the group.
BNI is a global organization with chapters in many countries. Members can leverage the international network for business opportunities and connections.
BNI provides training and educational resources to help members improve their networking and referral-generating skills. This includes learning how to effectively communicate their business offerings and generate high-quality referrals for others.
